Is Summer Over Yet?

I want school to start up, God help me, so that I can go back to Tuscaloosa where I have cable internet and a working DVD player and can actually GET TO PLACES without driving twenty miles. Places like Target, or the mall, or the movie theater. Or even McDonald's.
I miss Greece. We may have spent all our time studying, but at least we never had time to be bored! Also, well, it was Greece.
And I still have yet to talk about that at any length, don't I? I suck.
Another reason I suck is that I totally failed to get the IM addresses or phone numbers of any of the people I was over there with. I've got all their e-mails from the class list, but still. (One of them, my friend Sam, is over at DeviantArt. She's been putting up photos from the trip and they're REALLY GOOD. And no, she's not anywhere near as goth as the username suggests.)
I watched Over There last night. Y'know, that new show on FX about the war in Iraq. I don't really have anything to say about the plot other than, "Oh, look, people getting shot at," and, ( spoiler ) I spent most of the show recognizing people and trying to figure out where I recognized them from. The blonde girl, the sergeant, and the singer guy were driving me crazy until I got on the IMDB, where I discovered that they were, respectively, formerly Syl on Dark Angel, some doctor on ER (though he resembles Q), and some Power Ranger. I didn't actually watch the series singer-guy was a Power Ranger on, so I don't know how I recognized him. (Hi, I am an enormous nerd.)
So. We've established that I'm bored. Therefore, it is your duty to entertain me. Fire away.
