Watch Me Be Unpatriotic

Getting shot in the head in his sleep does not make that kid a 'fallen hero.' Even though he was shot in the head in his sleep in his barracks in Iraq. It just makes him DEAD. You can waffle all you want and avoid saying it, but y'know, Iraqi insurgents do not exactly have access to the barracks, so I'm guessing it was one of his fellow, y'know, American Marines that shot him.
I'm also guessing they didn't do it for kicks and giggles. Though I am sure, as the military investigation develops and it is revealed that this guy stole somebody's underwear or slept with their sister or something, and that's why he got shot, you will faithfully report on that as well, right? And the guy who shot him, he's a hero too, right? Because all our troops in Iraq are heros, apparently, because far as I can tell, we don't know jack about what he did in life, and his death sure wasn't heroic, so his simple presence in Iraqu is his heroic act. Right?
*crickets*
That's what I thought.
