I Spoke Too Soon

From my last entry: My mom will do the dressing.

Overheard in our kitchen at various points today:

"When are you going to start the dressing?"

"Is this turkey stock in the pressure cooker for the dressing?"

"What do you mean, 'I'm not making dressing'?"

"I can make the cornbread right now for you if you'll just make dressing."

"Is Wal-Mart open?"
"Why?"
"So I can buy some freaking Stovetop."

"Where's the dressing?"

"Is the dressing still in the oven?"

"What do you mean, 'There's no dressing'?"

"She wouldn't let me get Stovetop."

So...yeah. We just had Thanksgiving dinner with no dressing. It was very strange. I don't recommend it.
