So Much To Do

After a few e-mails with my advisor, I am now officially registered. *flail of excitement* Then there's a class in the Russian department on Tolstoy I'd love love love to take (I did my senior project in a multidisciplinary program on Tolstoy), and it has a few spots left, and I know that you can do that because we had grad students in our Russian classes all the time (and they were usually from the library sciences program, now that I think about it...) and even if it was full Dr. D would override me in in approximately .5 seconds, but I'm not entirely sure I can handle another class. Maybe I can talk to him about auditing it?

Now I just have to find an apartment that isn't out of my price range, is not overrun with 19-year-olds, and will take cats (the cats are nonnegotiable), possibly get a job, apply for financial aid, pay my tuition, figure out WTF is going on with the student health center and if I really need to resubmit my immunizations, buy Christmas presents, write and mail Christmas cards, get over this cold, and, oh yeah. Write my Yuletide story.

I also need to make an appointment with a surgeon for a consultation regarding LASIK. Oh, yeah, I may be getting lasers shot at my eyes, did I not mention that part?
