1. Choose five to ten of your all time favorite books.
2. Take the first sentence of the first chapter and make a list in your journal.
3. Don't reveal the author or the title of the book.
4. Now everyone try and guess! Cross them off as they're guessed correctly.

These are taken from the books I have here at school, and so represent less than a full section of my library. To make it sporting, I am limiting myself to one book per author, which should give you a hint.

Is number 3 All-American Girl by Meg Cabot? I'm fairly certain it's a Meg Cabot book. (I haven't read it, but I read the first page because everyone on my flist loves her and I needed to see what the fuss was about, outside of Princess Diaries.)
