OH MY GOD THEY WON'T LET ME BUY TICKETS FOR THE ATLANTA SHOWING ONLINE.

I'm about twelve seconds from telling my parents I'll be back tomorrow, getting in my car, and starting driving.

Also, the best place to check for info is here or here. According to that, Atlanta is sold out already but there might be a theater upgrade, so keep checking.

I'm clinging to the hope that there will, because I didn't get in yet.

*grabs the Telly by the collar* ONE WORD of spoiler out of you and I swear, you are DEAD, girl. "River's made out of chocolate!" will get you axed.

How far is Atlanta from you? Will you have to take a mini-vaca to Georgia just to see this film?

Or is this another Atlanta altogether?

It's like four or five hours. But since I didn't get tickets, it doesn't matter anyway.

One of my favorite Naruto authors was saying on her lj:
I picked up Sunshine, by Robin McKinley when I stopped by Powells last night. I saw it rec'd by a number of people on (of all places) Fandom_Wank, during a LKH wank. It was brought up as being a good vampire novel, and I've read a couple of McKinley's fantasy novels. While not my favorite, they were good enough for me to be interested.

I'm only about fifteen pages into it, but I am now in love.

(So now I just have to find a way to ask her for fic without, you know, coming off like a total stranger asking for fic.)

Be veeeeery polite.

Right. Maybe I should start sucking up *now*, and I can work towards begging for fic?

Yeah. You could like, wander in and be all, "Ooh, Sunshine, I was one of the people raving about how good it was over at f_w, and by the way have you noticed the tragic lack of Sunshine fic?"

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of praising her Naruto fics, but that works too.

Yes, I was just getting to that. After you mention the tragic lack of Sunshine fic, you begin the buttering-up process, praising her Naruto fic.

I shall try that.
