HBP Thoughts. Again.
Jul. 17th, 2005 11:28 pmSo, I've had time to think, and...
1. What is up with the werewolves? Why do wizarding parents keep naming their children things that mean "Wolfy Wolf"? That's like, asking for it. (Fenrir Greyback's bad enough (OMG BILL'S FACE), though I do feel for his brother Kong Greyback, who had an encounter with a rogue weregorilla...)
2. Remus/Sirius is not dead. However, Sirius is, so moving on.
3. Am now less convinced Snape is actually evil, having read other peoples' theories on the subject. And they're right. Two accomplished Legilimens share a "significant look" and we're supposed to believe they're just looking at each other? Not so much. Though if Snape does, in the end, prove to be on the side of angels, he's going to have a hell of a time convincing anyone.
4. Yeah, Harry's interest in Ginny came out of nowhere, but he's sixteen. These things happen. Also, I suspect JK Rowling is casting a baleful eye at her copy of the Spider-Man DVD after re-reading the Harry/Ginny breakup.
