Someone Slap Sense Into Me

I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'm thinking of either law school or librarian school, but I really don't know. Given my druthers, I'd earn my living by playing Spider Solitaire and reading fic, but I'm pretty sure that's not an option.

So. My latest idea is to join the military. That way, they can tell me what to do with myself, and if I do decide to go to law school, they can pay for it. And as I told my mom, "I'm too smart and blind for them to put me anywhere I'll get shot."

Also, Baz would have to call me 'Sir.'

No, I'm not kidding, and see above in re: smart and blind. They're not going to send me to Iraq. And while I certainly disagree with the war in Iraq, so do a whole lot of people already in the military.

And I mean that more than just in a "It's a horrible horrible thing and will suck mightily" kind of way (though I mean it in that way too). That's the place where they weed out the people who are doing it because they can't think of what else to do, and the people who really want to do it.
