I'm packing up to go to a Holocaust Studies conference at Middle Tennessee State University. We leave later this afternoon. TR and I are part of doing a roundtable on why the Holocaust should be taught at a university level. There were originally several other students going, but they've all bailed. My favorite excuse was the girl who suddenly remembered her brother's wedding was this weekend. Gyah.

So we get to hold up the university students end of the conversation all on our lonesome. Joy.

I'm also deathly sinus-ill (omg cannot breathe or speak send mint tea), but TR tells me if I still can't talk by the time for our roundtable, she is barricading herself in the hotel room and being all, "Stacì no estan aqui. No habla ingles."

Also, on Monday and Tuesday alone I have a Russian quiz, a religious studies paper due (we should get an extension, I say), and the English studies midterm. It kinda sucks to be me right now.

On the brighter side, Space: Above and Beyond, a show I loved when I was in like fourth grade (and can appreciate the more complex themes of now that I'm older) that got FOXed, is coming out on DVD November eighth. It's already out at Best Buy, but we don't have a Best Buy in T-town. So TR has fully agreed to stop at the Best Buy in Birmingham on our way up to Tennessee. Isn't she just the best ever?

edit: My new neighbor has a bigass dog that barks all the time and freaks the cats the hell out, and consistently parks his bigass truck in the end space on the row, which is also notably narrower than the other spaces and next to where I park my car. I want to kill him with my brain.
