This Is Not Acceptable
Jul. 9th, 2008 09:21 amMore in-depth and less capslocky thoughts on Victory of Eagles were supposed to go here, but this morning I went to the post office to pick up my new (to me) box set of The Chronicles of Narnia, numbered as is right and proper in the pre-1992 format. I'd ordered them from an Amazon seller. From the condition notes, I was aware The Magician's Nephew had a broken spine and there was a small tear at the bottom of the box, and I was fine with that. These things happen with sixteen-year-old paperbacks.
I WAS NOT AWARE THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE WAS NOT GOING TO BE IN THE FREAKING BOX.
I've never had a problem with a seller before, but uh, I think this is pretty egregious. I've already contacted the seller. We'll see what they say.
