Vampy Smash
Jul. 10th, 2008 12:28 pmUpdate: I am having an astonishingly difficult time composing an e-mail back to the Amazon seller (secondeditionbooks, for those of you who would like to avoid these losers in the future) who offered me a prorated refund for the missing volume of The Chronicles of Narnia. What I want to say is, "No, I want to send this back and you give me a full refund, because a box set with a missing volume is defective, you morons. What do you expect me to do, track down another copy of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and break up someone else's set? Sweet Christ on a pogo stick!" And that's even the version without profanity. My first draft was far worse. But my momma raised me to be polite, so I probably shouldn't send that e-mail, so I'm going to keep writing drafts until I get a polite, professional one. Somehow.
In happier news, I found out during class (stupid class, making me miss TV) last night that Pasha and Anya did the choreography for a cha cha last night on So You Think You Can Dance, and thanks to some kind soul, it was up on YouTube with a quickness. Yay hot Russians! I've missed you! I love Anya's hair! Of note: What the subtitles claimed Pasha and Gev were saying in Russian? Not actually what they said. Pasha may have said, "Like this," but then Gev said, "Da?" (yes) and Pasha said, "Da," back. There was nothing about 'a message,' making that the fakest and most lame segue I've seen lately.
In even happier news, I seem to be going to DragonCon! I think? Not sure if it is finalized...

Reservations are for Thursday through Monday morning. We're leaving then to go hang with family for a day or two...
