I honestly don't know that Channing Tatum would be worse. I mean, when they were talking John Krasinski I was in 'threatening to take to my bed until this disaster is over' territory, but this latest batch of names, I was just like, "PLEASE GOD NOT CHRIS EVANS OR RYAN PHILIPPE."
I had honestly managed to talk myself into believing that guy from Cloverfield wouldn't be a total disaster. God. Where did all the decent actors go?
Channing Tatum would have been worse. At least Evans has some talent and charisma. Tatum is a worse actor than a rock I found in my shoe. His acting also causes me more pain than a rock I found in my shoe.
You know, of course, this means that his new catchphrase will be "America on!", there will be scenes in the movie of Steve doing x-treem sports for no real reason, and there will be be a lengthy flashback somewhere in the middle of the story to WWII!Captain America romancing the very sexy ladies of the French Resistance forces.
