What should one wear when one's aunt is suddenly getting remarried...to her ex-husband who she divorced twenty-five years ago?

The wedding is apparently being held on the beach in late April.

Sundress! See, in my family we usually go in for church weddings? So I've been like, "But what do you wear to a beach wedding?" while various other family members are going, "They're doing what?" It probably helps that I was not born for the original split, and thus had no dog in that fight.

Agreeing with above. Light dress, bring some sort of a top (I'm a fan of scarves and shawls) and remember to wear sandals that don't get stand jammed in them too badly.

I wasn't born for the original wedding. Heck, I think they divorced before my parents got married.

The 'beach' aspect has been seriously throwing me in re: what to wear to this shindig, yeah.

I figured that could be a problem...

Generally, you want to remember that beaches have wind, water, salt, and sand. So you want something you can wrap in when it gets windy, something that won't react too badly to salt water (check the fabric before hand if you can), keep make-up as basic as possible because of that as well, and wear shoes that won't kill you when they get sand in them.
