Help! I Need Somebody!

So I have a group presentation due for one of my classes on Monday. We are planning to show some short clips from Ocean's Eleven as part of our presentation, except none of us know how to, you know, make clips. It turns out I'm slightly more computer savvy than the other three group members, so I got tagged. If I don't figure out how to do it by Friday we're coming up with a Plan B, but...I do not want to have to go to Plan B. We're already down one slacker group member, I don't want to compound our problems.

So basically, how do I do it? Is there a program I need, and if so, can it be obtained for free? What do I do? I'm completely clueless and headdesking for agreeing to do this. HELP.
