fox1013 the Magnificent made me a hockey icon, just in time for the playoffs. 'Tis lovely. I chose the picture, so I can't even bitch over the fact that it's a Montreal Canadien instead of a Detroit Red Wing.
But. I'm stupid. When I try to save the icon to my computer so that I can put it on my LJ, it becomes a BMP file instead of the PNG file Fox says it is. Fox is smarter than me, so I believe her and believe it's my fault. She's gone to Seder (is that supposed to be capitalized?), so she can't help me. I don't know what to do. Help me? Please?

Date: 2004-04-07 11:01 am (UTC)I go into Paint, bring up the image, then click "save as". There's a drop down which allows me to save it as a jpg file. I am using ancient Windows ME, though, so your mileage may vary.
