Okay, so, I was hand-holding helping a friend with a paper, and I totally missed Lost. And cleolinda's recap doesn't go up until tomorrow or so.

So. What'd I miss?

He did!

For, like, five whole minutes. But Jack brought him back to life AND dealt with his daddy issues all at the same time.

Oh, and Boone and Locke went on an adventure through the woods.

In a flashback, Jack's dad kills a patient by operating drunk, even though Jack tried to help and bring the person back. At first, Jack was gonna lie for his dad but finally told the truth and his dad got his license revoked.

Sawyer threatens Sayid but doesn't do anything to him, they just talk about the French woman and Sayid admits he didn't plan on ever coming back.

Jack, Kate, Locke and Boone go off to find Claire and Charlie. They split up (Jack and Kate of course). kate says she learned how to track from her army Dad. Jack hallucinates and hears Claire screaming and sees Ethan (from the promos) but it didn't really happen.

Michael goes off with another search party for no good reason other than his ego. Nothing comes of that.

Jack and Kate find Charlie hanging from a tree, in what seems to be a very creepy shot for most of us. Jack does CPR for a very long time but it seems Charlie is dead. Kate cries rather well. Jack doesn't give up like he did back with that woman from the flashback and Charlie wakes up.

Locke and Boone find something metal and start digging the big thing up.

Everyone else is back at camp, without finding Claire. Charlie is catatonic for a while then says he doesn't remember anything. Just that "they" want Claire and only Claire.

I think that's it.

I bet the big surprise at the end of the season is that the island is really a resort where companies send their employees to bond. Maybe the group that took Claire are baby clothes manufactorers.

Oh god, I just thought of something. If they do these episode to episode cliffhangers so well (most of the time) imagine what the season finale cliffhanger will be.

I thought it was funny that Kate seeing one of Charlie's finger tape things automatically rendered her a junior ranger. Uh, wtf?
