1) Sally forth to Fanfiction.net. Gird thy loins. Plunge in.
2) Choose a book, movie, show, etc. you have never heard of (or, in a pinch, at least one you know nothing about aside from the name) that has at least ten fics listed.
3) Read only the first page of story summaries.
4) Using what you have learned from these summaries, describe what this book/movie/whatever is about. Be as silly as you like, but ONLY use whatever you just learned...
My choices were severely limited by the fact that I'm a bit of a media whore, but finally I chose Vampire High, which is, for those of you as clueless as me, apparently a TV show.
There are about fifty million people (with kind of lame names) on this show, among them Drew, Merrill, Karl, Marty, and Sherry, and apparently they are vampire high school students. Kind of a cool premise, actually. I can't tell if half of them are meant to be male or female. Merrill is especially an offender in this regard. Either the school is called Mansbridge or somebody called Mansbridge did an experiment on the vampire high school students. I'll get back to you on that. The principal (or...evil scientist, possibly?) is called Dr. Murdoch, also known as Daredevil (no, I made that up). He has three teenaged daughters who are new students at the school, not to mention the various other new female students at the school, but they are NOT MARY SUES!!1eleven!
