AIM just died! And it seems to be back now, for like, six people, but...it died! Totally! What the hell was up with that??

Not my cable company. I'm currently on dial-up, so bugger that. From what I can gather from others, AOL Instant Messenger went down for everybody. I don't think I've ever heard of that happening before.

Unless you've been online for the last three hours, in which case allow me to rephrase that to almost everybody.

I'm on my laptop and my wireless connection drops sporadically so I never think twice about being disconnected, but that is kind of weird that all of AIM would blink like that.
