Wherein I attempt to pay my water bill )

Things I have to do in this state of mind:
1. 3-5 page paper, am in the tall grass.
2. Creative writing assignment. Telly helped me retrieve the images, so am slightly less in the tall grass.
3. A metric fuckload of Russian homework
4. Study for mythology test.

Arrrgh.

The Georgelet tried to eat the tower of Minas Tirith a minute ago. It was kinda cute. Now he's lounging in full extension mode, and several things are in danger of falling off the desk. I find myself unable to care.

Oh! I finally finished my long slog through the muck known as Constantine, so expect my review/rant on that to be up later, as I attempt to wriggle my way out of the tall grass.

People who were at MBTV with me, help me out. Am I right or sickly-crazy?

Way back when, in MBTV OTB (so, what, four years ago?), we had a thread for pretty celebrities. I don't remember what it was called. But somebody posted a picture of Orlando Bloom sans most of his clothes, and it was pretty as sin. And I said, quite sincerely, "...Can I lick it?" And everybody thought that was amusing, because apparently it wasn't said very often. For a while, people even kinda teased me about it. And it became, in that thread, common parlance. Pretty people were 'lickable.' I don't think it was common on LiveJournal at the time, and I know we had to explain the term's nativity to a few people when we moved to Meta.

And now it's common as dirt. Everybody's licking. Or *lick*ing.Telly just linked me to these very pretty pictures from [livejournal.com profile] rightclicklick.

So, what I want to know is...has the plague made me delirious, or did I start this?

I do not doubt at all that somebody else could have come up with it independent of me. It's a fairly obvious phrase.

But if I did start it, where's my credit?!
